I’ve been studying the “how to make trance in logic” videos and when we get to the part of making pads, my EX24 does not have that category of sounds, factory is the folder and more specifically “choirpad velo” is the sound. They come with the course materials but for some reason I cant install them!! please help someone :]

have you installed the factory soundbanks from the Logic Pro installation discs ? this is where these presets are located
Same instrument, same tutorial, different problem:
The instructor says he’s conveniently loading the Channel Strip setting from a file that we get from the tutorial, but the only thing that loads is the instrument- not the channel effects
I’ve been googling and searching everywhere for a solution for almost 2 hours, can’t believe I’m the only whose had this problem :[
Can you let me know which video you are watching and I will investigate.
From the folder downloaded with this course, locate the ‘sampler instruments’ and ‘samples’ folders. Copy and paste these to -Macintosh HD~Library~application support~Logic. Here you will find ‘sampler instruments folder’, and above that ex24 factory ‘samples’ place respective folders there. Now this is a root level, if you want to put them at user level, go to ‘user’~lib~app support~logic. Place the .exs files here and the samples can live anywhere on you hard drive. Hope this helps.
Thank you a lot for the thoughtful response! I am work and will try that solution once I get back to my house, awesome tutorial by the way- such a killer sound!
