Okay ive had this question for too long cant find the answer. I used to know how to take a synth sample from a regular sample cd, put it into a sampler in Fl Studio 8 and set Q’s on it so whenever i held down a key on a midi keyboard the sample played like a pad consistently like a sustained note, if you set the Q points right of course. I Have been looking how to do this on Logic’s EXS 24 for too long… HELP?!
I hope you get what i am asking?
Try seeing if you have “one shot” turned on in the EXS24 sampler editor window.
Heres a pic of where it is - its on the right hand side column.
Just incase: Maybe check your ADSR too after. (Know you;ll have checked that mate - but have to ask!)
If you have any bother Mate - let me know
Thanks for the reply but still I would have to depend on the original sample’s lenght it would still end. I know there has to be a way to set Q points in the sample so it loops infinite and i do not need to worry about the original sample lenght. I am pretty sure there is a very easy way to do this in ableton… As i mentioned i used to do it on Fl studio. This is a hard one many have tried many failed
Sorry Mate…
Didnt read ya properly when I came in… was making dinner, chatting & surfing
Thought you didnt want them looping! LOL :hehe:
Think what you are looking for is to loop a section within the sample?
Something like the crossfade looping section in this?
