i was just watching the latest video part 2 drums,and as im a logic user i was wondering is there a way i could xtract a groove from a track i like using logic??

Audio onto the Arrange.
Double click it to open the Sample Editor and go:
Factory > Audio to MIDI Groove Template.
Been a while since I did one & not on the Mac atm… but I think after that, you are prompted to name it. You can then go to your Quant Menu as usual & you will see it there.

Logic doesnt store the grooves inter project. So you have to have a “Hidden Track”, containing all your audio loops / midi files etc… whose grooves you are using. Otherwise they’ll not carry over. Save that project as your template & you’re laughing.
I have never applied a Groove to Audio… only to midi.
Vibes says that you can do it to audio - havent tried yet myself. Keep an eye on the threads anyway C & let us know how you get on Mate.
