Hi Phil, I’d just like to say I thought this tutorial was spot on and the criticism it received after the first part was a little premature, I’ve only just got chance to watch the last few videos and i’ve got to say I found it packed with new techniques and also very interesting to see a track created from start to finish.
Personally I would like to see you do this, in such a complete manner, with other styles, although it must have been a lot of work.

Yeah I agree, I enjoyed the level of detail in this one. Thanks for that little in-ableton mastering chain at the end by the way, I’m sure it’s no substitute for professional mastering but it makes my mixes sound a lot nicer.
yeah mastering for releases is best left to the Pro imo… i use that chain just to bring it up to levels comparable to other tracks and to play out.
