Hi guys! I have been working on this mix on and off for the past few months, and I finally finished it recently. However, I’ve listened to this SO many times that I cannot judge whether or not it is good enough to be considered “finished” and sendable to a label. I attempted my own mastering, which may have been a mistake. But give me your worst so I can fix it, and tell me what you think overall!br

EDIT: Oh and also, what genre would you consider this track? I honestly started making it, and just ran with the sound. I assume it would be considered electrohouse?br

Sounds awesome… havnt tried it through my main speakers yet but its a very cool track.br
br
im sure you would have no bother getting it signed.
I can’t play the track as Soundcloud is saying that it’s not available to stream in my location (UK).br
br
Is this a new thing that Soundcloud have brought in to do with copyright/licensing?br
br
If so, how lame!br
br
If not - can you change the settings or something on the track, so that i can listen?
Thanks Phil I always appreciate your quick feedback! And David I’m not sure what’s going on with that, but I definitely want people from the UK to be able to hear it as well. Anybody have any idea as to why this could be happening?
Try this David. Maybe it was a widget error or something? :w00t:br

Yes the widget does still not work, but i used the direct soundcloud link and then it worked fine!br
br
Indeed this does sound awesome, the impact of the kick and bass elements when everything kicks in is really nice.br
br
And although this is not my kind of dance music at all - it’s so nice to hear something that sounds a little fresh and has a kind of unique sound to it. Nice one!br
br
Being pretty picky though - there are some things i would change personally - i think a really big, epic reverbed crash/impact would have been nice going into the breaks.br
br
And also i thought that at times the relative balance between the levels of all the different elements was a little off - but this was only fairly occasionally - all in all, a really good track that has a really nice overall sound to it.
Thanks for your comments and suggestions David. They are much appreciated and considered!br
