just finished a song, it is only my 2nd song, so I’m rather new and incompetent 
Nevertheless, feel free to say what comes to your mind, any help appreciated:
If anyone wants to know: I used Ableton, Sylenth1 and Zebra for that song.
Edit: If anyone has an idea why this song lacks the energy (thats what I feel) it’d be great, cause I couldnt figure it out yet

i quite like this, doesnt quite have the cheese on top sound most trance heads seem to want to emulate
I like the sound used for the nice warm bass - what did you use for that?
I’m not sure which bass you mean exactly, so here are all bass and mid-bass sounds I used:
Simple offbeat (sub)bass through the whole song: Ableton’s Operator
Bassline starting at 0:58 is Operator as well
Pretty quiet bassline comes in with the stabs at 1:12 or so: Ableton’s Analog
And - ok its not really a bass, but maybe you mean this thing - the sound starting at 0:28 is a Sylenth1
Here is some food for thought, It kinda of reminds me of some old school Trance like around the late ninetys
Great arrangement! Keeps the interest up! … I would crank up the bass and add a bit more beef to the kick … that might help to inject more energy into the track … hope that helps
