Feedback(Minimal Tech House)

I don’t know what this would be classified as but I had the minimal tech house tutorial as the basis for it so…haha I really don’t know. I would like to get some feedback on this. It sounds pretty good on my monitors and all, but I don’t have a sub so I am not sure about the sub bass.br

Updated version, I don’t think it is minimal anymore.br

Nice Groove… Drums are well balanced and really funky.br
br
I like the bass when its lower… when it starts to come up a bit sounds too in your face for me compared to the rest of the track lacks subtlety.br
br
I like the breakdown… although i think some of the dryer sounds i.e the vocal sounds like they need a bit of reverb to gel them with the rest of the track.br
br
I love the melody line… its a bit lost in the mix… maybe because the bass is really taking everything over.br
br
defo potential there… just gota decide if you are making a pumping bassline track or a more subtle housey track.br

Yeah, I agree with the vocals, They sound kind of dry and melody line, I wanted to add something subtle, a difference to the second drop so It doesn’t get boring, like a counter melody or whatever it is called :)br
br
Shall I increase the volume of the melody a bit or lower the power of the bassline and mix two together?br
br
I want the bass to drive the song.

It really depends what style you are going for… Any tracks you have in mind itwould sort of sit along side?

Not really man :), this track came out like a surprise I was just fooling around, watching your minimal house video and playing along. I didn’t plan anything, it came out randomly. So there is no certain style I am going for haha.br

I kinda processed the melody abit and made it more stereo with simple delay trick and raised the volume a bit so It is not centered like the bass, it sounds fuller now. I think I will keep it this way.
