Feedback on track

hey guys, posted a version of this track a while ago and decided to make some changes… I’ve listened to it so many times I just can’t make good mixing decisions… can you guy help me sort some things out?

Main bass (foundation bass) STILL sounds like it’s lacking something…

can you guys give me some feedback on the mix? how are the elements sitting together? too much reverb? etc?

thanks for the comments!

sounds good man, the bass is lacking though, it sounds like you should add a sub bass underneath it playing the same pattern just to give it that bottom end.

Sounds pretty pro to me. Agree with adding a little more weight to the main bass. Ever consider spreading the stereo field a little on the other basses?

i think its spot on… i reckon if you played this out it would sound great… a lot of stuff i hear out sounds like theres toomuch going on… this has a really nice feel of space… you get to hear all the bits.

reminds me of a daft punk production.

I would do more with the arrangement tho… breaks too long… and maybe more stuff to break the sections up.

thanks for the feedback Phil… As far as the arrangement goes… there are a couple places where I need to add in some more fills and what not but for the most part, I’m fresh out of ideas!! :frowning:

I guess i’ve listened to it so many times that I’m just over it i guess… haha! if anyone has any ideas go ahead and throw them my way!

would like to send it in to get mastered as I’m not too satisfied with how i mixed it…

could anyone recommend a good / reasonably priced mastering service?
