It gets a bit mad!br
br
In parts the vocal sounds a bit out of tune with the rest of the mix - or vice versa as i presume you started with the vocal samples and then built the rest of the track around that!br
br
On a wider note, i’m finding it difficult to really take seriously any kind of remix of this track - it’s kind of been done to death!br
br
Regarding the sound quality, it’s ok, but in parts the vocal seems to really take over the track and the drums and bass don’t seem to have as much presense as i would like.br
br
Not a bad effort but like i said, i can’t really take remixes of a track like Get Lucky seriously - always going to be a really hard task remixing a Daft Punk track and trying to make something that sounds as good or better!

One one hand its brilliant… theres tons going on, its really interesting there are some great elements. on the other hand its a bit of a mess.br
br
the vocals and the chords are out of tune at the start. I think it is just the harmony on the vocal that is clashing with the chords… if you have the vox without harmony you could get away with it.br
br
The Chopped up vocal bits are a great idea but lack finesse. they need to be more rhythmical and have a more predictable pattern. and maybe some more interesting FXbr
br
the transitions are also a bit clumsy… they could happen with a bit more fluidity. maybe more filtering more subtle FX (sweeps you have sound a bit loud ). Maybe look at some drum fills or different clever ways of getting to the next section.br
br
Overall tho its a good start but to my ears needs a lot of tidying up.br

Agreed! It’s so complicate to find a different harmony compared to the initial composition.br
At the same time this track has been remixed so many times, don’t know why…br
br

Thanks Phil,br
Very valuable advices.br
