has anyone plz got a good tutorial on this subject plz
any help is much appreciated !!!

i have tried
mixmeister bpm analyser (doesnt give out true bpm)
im on cubase 5
the best but also the most extensive way is to simply use a kick every bar … when you’re done you simply open up the embodied bpm counter in your daw
you won’t get it any more precise i think
You can’t find a bpm in an acapella.
Hoever, you can find the full song and check what BPM it has. Chances are high that the acapella has the same.
Otherwise use the trick from MenD.
Id have to disagree.
Tap for Beats Per Minute BPM
if you know the vocal and the track it came from you should be able to tap out the BPM to give you a rough estimate give or take a few beats.
Just try and feel it out man! act as if you were the one singing to a metronome. where would it be positioned?

Most songs have a defined tempo, so yes, even an acapella will have a bpm value. But like you said, the easiest way to measure it is to measure the full song. The acapella will almost certainly have the same tempo (unless it’s from a different version/recording).
