So that’s it , I Had Piano lessons when I was 13-16 years old ( 18 now :o ) , and I am starting with ableton , watching every basic video here on SA and it´s going pretty well I think ( thanks SA ). I know that maybe a keyboard isn’t very important at this stage but I feel that if I get one It ill motivate me and things will be easier, so What would you guys recommend for my first keyboard controller . btw … around 100-200 Euros maybe a bit more .
axiom 25 by m-audio is good. it’s small and easy to use if your just starting out. not to pricey either.
if you’ve had piano lesson though you might want something bigger.
Ye I am watching M audio site , got my eyes on Axiom 25 or Keyrig 49 … all those knobs and pads that come with the axiom will make any big difference ?

It can if you want it to. You can map those knobs to work in Ableton to map automation. If you don’t like using your mouse for everything. I use that keyboard myself but just for quick sampling. I mainly put the scale I’m working in the piano roll deactivate the notes and write melody’s around the notes I can you use.
I suggested the axiom 25 cause its simple and it doesn’t have a bunch of bells and whistles to confuse you when your just staring out.
It’s all about preference!!!
