I thought it might be useful to post the list of upcoming changes in Maschine 1.8 for anyone considering this. I’ve highlighted the things I think are best. The update will include the following improvements:



Offline time stretching and pitch shifting feature

Transient Master

Tape and Tube Saturators

Save group with samples feature

Improved handling of missing samples

Revised select page (hardware) with access to note length

Quick select events of a sound in a pattern (Shift + Select + Pad)

Quick erase events of a sound in a pattern (Erase + Select + Pad)

Pre-hear samples from the hardware browser before loading them

Choke all playing sampler voices feature (“panic button”: Shift + Mute)

Sample play position indicator on the waveform (hardware and software)

AutoWrite pinning feature

AutoWrite on Maschine Mikro

Host Transport Control*

Various bug fixes



*If Maschine is run as a plug-in, the hardware transport controls can be used with the host.

Thanks mate - all sold now though. I can’t even begin to say how gutted I am at having to sell Maschine. I’m going to be selling Komplete 7 and my collection of PSP plugins shortly as soon as I’ve had the go ahead from the respective developers as well. Times are hard unfortunately. :crying:

I just bought maschine mikro in the Ni sale for£199
