i’m on the site right now, might spend 2-3hrs collecting sounds i like and put them all in a folder and use them in productions
my question is, can we use the sounds on here and then release the projects on a label without any worry?
what about if our songs don’t sell/make money like mark knight. what they going to sue? for 4 bucks? doubt it.
i do know that mark knight had 1-2 songs that made $100,000 bucks but hes was all legit i’m sure. imagin if he had used something he took from some where else then sure it would be reasonable to sue in this case. but the majority of house/techno/dance music doesn’t sell. so should i worry less if i use anything from freesound.org ?
I use a lot of samples from freesound - I think you need to read the lisence for each sample - but alot are under the creative common banner
Should you worry about using samples - i suppose if it is a blatent rip and your track gets in the top 10 then yes
