whats supposed to be the lowest frequency on the spectrum? kick or bass?
right now my kick is at 62.5 htz and bass is at round the same

Can be either.
although if you are having them at the same freq you defo want a bit of sidechain
so they can be the same frequency yeah? the track sounds good butnot sure how it would sound on big speakers, i sidechained the bass anyway and took away about 20 herts, seemed to give it a decent bit of space… thanks alot!
In any thing if it sounds good to you then job done until you know otherwise.
