HEHEHE
lol u dont gotta tell most of us. im always bitching that its like having 2 full time jobs when ur a producer.
look at it this way tho… gotta work ur *** off now to get what u want later.
Same here , i have 2 jobs, + djng, but its only way for me to get cash for some cash for studio equipment.
Ive got a full time job over the summer and ive put everything on hold untill the winter. Its pretty much impossible to work full time, come home and have the energy to make tunes.
I think if your serious about production you do need to treat it like a job - luckily I work part time officially but that often creeps up to nearly full time (a hazard of working in the charity sector) plus with being a father and having a mother who is quite simply a hassle - plus trying to fit in a social life its even hard for me too find time - the way get round this is have a work diary - every week night I will spend 4 hours in the studio (well the one half of my living room) and on the weekend - I will try and fit in around 8 hours studio time - a total of 28 hours which is nearly a full time job
However it’s not a job - if i thought it was I probably go on strike
I have 3 full time jobs. My job, my music and my family lol
My job job is cool because I’m a service engineer and on the road, so when my work is done I get to go home I’m so ****ing good at what I do I get the work done quick and can get home really early sometimes, today I was finished and home by 13.30
It’s swings and roundabouts though and sometimes everyday can be long days and I can’t be arsed after along day
I spend 95% of my spare time in the studio, im in there whenever I can but it’s not enough lol I need more time. I often think about throwing sickies to spend time making music and have a few times :w00t:
My family get the other 5% of my time which really ***** my mrs off lol. She try’s her hardest to get me doing other stuff lol she thinks I’m still
A kid and need to grow up.
U guys make me feel like ****. I have a wife but no kids and struggle. So much trying to have time for music.

i’ve been doing it everyday for a year dude! not impossible… just gotta be dedicated!
its the worst cause I’m a web developer… and I sit on a computer for 9 hours at work. then i go home and sit for another 5 hours in the studio on the computer. and thats during the week. i stopped going out to parties a while ago (because you have to when you wanna produce full-time) so on the weekends we try to get in our 8hr sessions and bang out huge sections of tracks.
but i have a sweeeet LCD tan. lollol
Is it an all over tan

lol of course… i mean who doesnt produce buck?
i have a 36 hour contract but i work 40… this means i can take up more holidays in a year. I plan my days on friday and monday to have a lot of time to work on tracks.
