The recent genre-specific Tech Tips (Synthwave with Bluffmunkey, and House with Dirty Secretz) are amazing! The way they go down into the absolute fundamentals – even the cliches! – is exactly what I need. I enjoy watching the How-to-Make-style tutorials, but without a better grasp on the basics, I never feel like I can take what they’re doing and make my own music from it.
I’d love to see more of these, in any genre. I’d especially like trance, techno, and chillout, 'cause that’s the sort of thing I’d like to make, but I’d watch pretty much any genre, just to be able to understand it.
