Working on a few today.
youtube embeds and times please.
try to keep this thread neat!
First!
The main stab in this, as of 32 seconds:
Square/Tri grizzly leads I can do, but Rusko somehow seems to nail it.
The Bass in this Phil… Is there an LFO on the Pitch?
I’d love to see the Midi pattern & settings needed to get that smooth roll.
Slam - Cacophony - 2010
From Beginning:
<EMBED style=“WIDTH: 381px; HEIGHT: 261px” height=261 type=application/x-shockwave-flash width=381 src=- YouTube allowfullscreen=“true” allowscriptaccess=“always”>All of this if possible please
But the Bassline & The Main Synth if posible
Any of these would be nice
I would like to know how to sequence a glitchy Sequence like a section from this example from minutes 1:00 - 1:22
The stabs that come in at 1.30 are wicked would love to know how they were produced Not sure if its a stab or a melody lol. The duh duh duh de de de dup.:hehe:.

TUNE!!!
I know for a fact that Edit does his sequencing by ear, no plug in, so he literally just sits and chops it and cuts and pastes until it sounds good. he did a lot of it in Soundforge.
His Usher yeah bootleg took him something like 4 days to do.
3 Layers to the main riff that kick in around 4 minuets, always love this track
or the synths from this would do…best part kicks in around 2:24 and starts to morph between two or three layers, been asking for from the day i signed up hahaha

yeah i know but im interested in how to do it i can do some of the effects but some i cant
Any idea how to do this bassline??
Check from 2.49min
Ok I love this track at the moment, not the vocal version but this instrumental.
From 1.09, how do i replicate that sound? I know it’s got a ping pong on it, but the sound is SWEEEEEEEEEEET!!
Also if you have time, could you show us how to do the synth part too that comes in at 2.10, it’s pretty epic!
00:00 - 1:36 ive always wanted to know how to make a a calm ambient like sound like the on in the intro of this one

Yeah fair enough, from memory: what he does is lay down the main track say track one, then - then does the structural editing underneath any of the things he wants to edit, by chopping and pasting the audio - the main chops and the super quick edits so he can maintain the rhythm… Then drops it into soundforge and does reverses and bit crushing etc… within there. Drops it back into his DAW and chops the audio again.
People don’t realise how long and and painstaking this kind of production is, lots of editing by hand and re sampling and so on…
These are good:

*I’ve been trying to find the interview my friend did with him, but for the life of me can’t - i’ll ask him if he still has it.
** sorry this has all gone a bit off topic
For anyone who wants the Ummet Ozcan/Jochen Miller type lead get Ummet Ozcans sylenth1 soundset there are three presets; Syrus1 2 and 3. For anyone who has a Access Virus TI once again get the Ummet Ozcan soundset and there’s a patch called lost connection. Thought I’d save you a bit of work Phil

was just about to put this up man, amazing song this needs to be done!
Hey guys,
I have 2 tracks with FX rather than a “sound”. And I guess they are fairly easy when you know what you are doing.
Sander van Doorn - Purle haze
3m18
The vocals (ahah) start to spin from left to right with delay and some vacuum.
I tried some stuff on auto pan and manual panning but my sound seems to just roll from left to right with no spectacular effects. Probably just experience, but still want to ask it.
# Ummet Ozcan - Radio Crash remix
# 2m19
# Kick or synth has a insane suction effect. ( it's a short one)
Again. I tried some and as I am typing and listening this I actually think it's the synth with suction instead of the kick. I tried it with the kick, but a bad result. Bad sampling I guess.
Thanks!
