SO I find LAconvolver or what ever on my own. but now it wont let me install it its not a VST I have ever seen I need some help asap. Im frustrated and fried.
OK I FIGURED IT OUT!! LOL BUT SERIOUSLY AM I MISSING WERE THEY TELL YOU WHAT VST’S YOU NEED TO USE IN THE COURSE DESCRIPTION SOME PLACE?
Hi, I had the same issue. I found the download ok, but I couldn’t get it working. I copied the components folder to the right location but still couldn’t work out how to get LAconvolver working… I ended up just using the Ableton verb instead, not quite the same but ok! How did you get it working, please share:D
You don’t always have to use the exact same plug in, for instance everytime i’m asked to use the reverb they use in the videos, for example the revolverb or that other one they use, i just use my own reverbs or the Ableton / Logic built in reverbs.
Really makes no difference.
But sure, if you’re looking to use the exact same plugs each time then i see your point. But I would advise to learn to be adaptable, it will help you.
I actually completly agree with roben - the tuts for me are only guides, I think you would learn alot more trying differnt plug-ins to produce a similar sounds and groove - it also helps you learn what you have got currently, rather than spending a small fortune on plug-ins which you may only use once or twice
But thats just me and I realise eveybody has differnt styles of learning

The best advice you can give. believe me from experience… you will learn SOOO much more if you apply the techniques on your own and not exactly how the tutorials depict it.
