Does anyone know how i can use the Quantize in Cubase SX in such a way that I can make sounds a bit more real rather than robotic?
Trying to get the shaker to sound like im actually shaking a real one but not having much luck.

shakers have a down and an up! so using 2 different samples alternating tends to help things sound better.
you could play things in manually then quantize to say 50%
there are options in advance quantize for this.
personally id use a shaker loop.
