Good phantom kicks?

I did a searchon the website and i swear i saw them somewhere in here but i can’t find the section or link. But what im trying to create are phantom kicks, ones that are more felt than heard.

Like Poltergeist Kicks?

You’ve tried Searching a bit already? Can you remember who was in the discussion. Its handy looking for posts that way sometimes I find.

I don’t remeber but i know its a common practice in hip hop and in electro they will put the phantom kick on the upbeat but its not really heard just felt

Ghost hits i guess would be the same thing normally used on all sorts of percussion and in earlier Techno used on Kick. It was done using a 808 kick low down in the mix to give the 909 kick that push and pull feel.
