ive noticed on ableton and logic how easy it is to choose from many preset shuffle patterns to drop into midi tracks. is there a similar thing in c5?
there is many ways to use Shuffle in cubase . one of them is using the quantize function . in the Quantize set up u can maipulate the swing and the strenght of the swing to create shuffles . also in the midi channel you can insert Quantize plug in and the use also the swing and strenght option to create individual swing in every track . now stealing grooves from sample loops is the way i do . just create markers calculate then click . Create Groove Quantize from Hitpoints . then save like a template in the Quantize set up . super easy !
