Hi,
I’m using cubase 5 for my production and was wondering if there is a way to apply a groove to elements of my track? I am aware that live 8 has a groove engine to help with this. Is there something similar in cubase? Grateful for any info!
i dont think there is a way to apply groove the way ableton does
if you are programming drums you can use the beat designer in the midi inserts
it has a wee bar at the side that lets you apply swing to each element of the drums but thats about it as far as I know
yes there is a way to apply Groove Templates like Ableton. Click where u see the quantize Grid and open it . u can use a custom Groove settings or u can also drag MIDI groove templates to them.
there is so many ways of using Grooves in Cubase . did you try the Beat maker plug inn?
have cool templates for driums and u can apply 2 different Groove settings to every channel.
also MIDI plug ins like Quantize helps u to do use independent Grooves to every MIDI channel.
Cubase is awesome
