this track has some nice elements, great space between sounds, nice and airy…
The main problem for me about this tune was the bass, it sounds a little hollow right now, the two things you can do is:
- Add some additional layers to the bass and get a mid/high in there maybe with a little delay to give it some movement
- Add another bass sound in some of the gaps of the original bass to give it some spice
- Scrap the initial bass patch and use something with a higher end to it
The drums seem pretty tight, but you could do with making the hats and percussion louder so when you introduce them at certain points it gives more energy. Maybe add a few more percussive elements too?
when you breakdown again @ 3:20 you could do with some more melodies in here to really create something epic… The arrangement working quite nicely
All in all mate this has good potential
