Hello

Hi fellow choon chums.

Just signed up.

About to embark on music production using Ableton. Been DJing for over 10 years but am clueless about producing. Any tips for a beginner?

Hello! Welcome to the forums. I’d say if you’re just starting out to watch some of the videos on here initially, but then just get stuck into it. The best way to learn is have a go - I’ve been doing this for a few years now and still consider myself a novice. Enjoy it - and don’t take any of it too seriously.

Hola and welcome!

Best bet is to start with the Make Music with Ableton course:

Follow it through, so don’t just watch it, but actually do everything the tutor does as well on your DAW at home.

This will get you understanding your software and where and what everything does.

Then when you’ve done this, start watching the other videos.
