So I made something out of my comfort zone and did an electro house track. turned out pretty cool however, I need work and help on my buildup. I want a cool electro house buildup more than just the overused white noise and buildup. Ive already tried to have my pitch being modulated but that sound doesnt come out full enough for me like other electro house tracks. I would love some tips and insight on how to create a cool and uncommon buildup.
Also if you feel something else needs to be added please let me know, ive also been thinking of changing the snare pattern than the usual 2/4th beat. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
The build ups occur at 1:55 and 3:26 (those arnt necessarily going to be the instruments used in each I just wanted to fill that space).

Just wanted to say that I listened to “Higher Frequencies” while driving in the car, today, and loved it. Sorry, but I don’t have any feedback for you on this latest track of yours.

Thanks man! I changed the volume of the shaker and clap a bit so ill send you the final version if you want that one.
So here is pretty much the Final version I settled with, please let me know your thoughts. I added a sub kick for the verse/chorus not sure if it came through but let me know what you think.

other "electro House " tracks are made in professional studios using real gear, top acoustics, and someone with plenty of experience. your main synth is way too weak and thin. it needs to be beefed up alot, and in doing this, u might then need to alter your drum sounds aswell. but im straight up when it comes to feedback as im a producer myself, and that main synth leads sucks. the chords/melody is ok, but take your time when creating synth sounds, otherwise u will never sound like the pros.
