Hey Guys,br
br
next year i am going to visit a college in austria, and i have to make a track about lifestyles for my entrance examination. But thats not the problem.br
br
The rules are: build a sound/ groove arrangement, avoid populär pop beats (like dubstep, parallel half and double time scenarios)br
br
Thats the problem. Every beat i produce sounds parallel for me. Hip hop, DNB, Electro, Dubstep, everything sounds parallel.br
br
Would be really helpfull if somebody could explain how i could build an unparallel/complex beat, or if anybody has examples (midi clips or screenshots or something like that).br
br
Greets from Austriabr
:DD
You know the concept of four to the floor? br
Well, Austria is famous for it’s Waltz. A waltz is a 3/4 beat instead of a 4/4.br
That’s complexer ;)br
br
Thanks for your answers. Now i know what it is, but i cant get it on my drums. Dont know how i should build a polyrythm drum loop!br
br
Would be cool if somebody could explain
Right-clicking in the piano roll in impulse will give you the option to use triplets.
