Okey so im having trouble w getting my piano sound to fit in the mix,br
It does have my main melody is played on a piano from from the kontakt librarybr
It is to much in the background and when i raise the volume its to loud.br
I tried compressing it. EQ As good as i can but it still wont sit in the mix as i want it to. I want it to be more like IN your face. almost.br
Im Trying to get it to sit in the mix First w/out Reverb and then with but its still the same result
Is it a grand piano sound? I often find a cheaper piano sound helps and you can really bring out the top end to make it almost cut through. br

Do you have any suggestion on a cheap piano sound?
I find you have to compress them tons and add a load of mid eq around 1.7k… not to sharp a slope.
This is actually what I love FL studio for, it has a cracking cheap piano! And I’ve never tried that, may have too. Nexus has some ok ones too
I really like the Korg Legacy Plugins. The M1 and Wavestation are great for customizing your piano sounds, and the plugins are not too pricey at all. You can go anywhere from a huge surround sound piano to a simple tinker. Also you can layer so many other sounds with the piano with these plugins. I found them to be perfect if you are looking for that piano lead like Alesso uses in his song Years because their are different synth sounds layered throughout the piano and then compressed into one instrument…if that makes sense.
Cheers Phil will try that, Have been away for a week and then i have put in some sound absorbers in my room so now just have to finnish this then i will try to mix down the project!br
br
And thank you Staf will try out the demo and see if i can come up with some results!
