Help with computer djing hardware

hi all



I hope to tell u about myself 34 years old have lived in Vietnam for the past few years and have a club that i play in. so the thing i have been useing virtual dj but i know in the dj seen its maybe quite an uncool software to use. i ave worked on listing music for the past 5 years and could play in a irish bar up to a hard techno listed. i am going traveling and want to change to a new hardware and the best software so that i can join any club



I was thinking of using traktor and the pioneer ddj t1



but i am thinking about itch



what is the best software to use ?



and what is the best hardware to go with it ?



can you help ?

Partly because it free and also I reckon my laptop would explode if i ran max. live and and the template together - however will try out isotronic when i order my new lappy at the end of the month

Nah there are some nice bags on the market can carry both - plus I am not a wimp like you aline -





Ofcourse not been offered any gigs is another factor :P:D

cheers dude tried the free one as i dont have max for live but could not get it to work all the samples were offline and it just kept letting out random piano noises i looked in the sample folder and there was only a kick sample (not that i know what they would be for lol when i thought you would just drop your own tracks in did you have any probs mate





reckon i will just study it and do my own from scratch :slight_smile:

Well choosing Ableton + APC 40 you have to understand that its take time “prepare” your sets/gig,


  1. Waprping tracks (very time consuming)
  2. Buy or create a template for your DJ workflow (as i said before for me Isotonik is a perfect solution)
  3. Understanding APC 40.
