hi just wondering if anyone knows how to make a lead sound like this 3.30mins

and also like the lead in this
Stream Josh Lang - Tektic by Josh Lang | Listen online for free on SoundCloud 2.25mins
wondering if sounds like these can be produced in sylenth or if I need to look at a different synth.
And finally last question wondering wondering in a hard dance song like tektic how they manage to separate the leads and the baselines so well, is this done by dipping the eq in the baseline in the frequencies that the lead is punching through any help would be appreciated as always
Thanks again for any help appreciate the help you guys give at S.A alot

sounds like a sawtooth sound with maybe some pulse in there too… - and vibrato.
will check it out in more detail and possibly do a tech tip on it

say its just a case of choosing the right sounds. eq can certainly help, but making the sounds in the prescribed “sound” you are looking for makes more sense that EQ’ing afterwards.
- just tweak your sound until its got the same idea you are after… might seem like a stupid thing to say, but A/B’ing between a sound you are trying to make and the sound you have can help no end.
hey thanks for the response I will keep that idea about a/bing between sounds in mind alot of respect for your knowledge as a producer. and the sound I was talking about in the josh lang song was the main distorted bassline, really looking forward to the tech tip on the other lead sound in the kidd kaos song.
Thanks again
sorry I just looked at the wrong song when I wrote that in the song I was actually talking about in my first post the lead im after in the kidd kaos song is the high lead starts at 3.17 - YouTube
