Help with this pad sound

I’m trying to get a sound like the pad in this track:







It is the pad that plays the chords starting at 5:27



I have Logic synths, synlenth1 and Omnisphere, as well as Roland V Synth and Fantom hardware.



Thanks for any guidance.

I don’t think it’s a pad mate. Sounds more like a filtered chord stab with a long release. Fairly typical for deep house tracks. The tutorial on here shows you how to make and resample chords for this kind of sound.



Other guys here may be able to help you with the actual synthesis for this. Me, I tend to get a good sample pack, find a stab I like and drop it into Simpler or Sampler.
