Ok, I have a gig tomorrow and I cannot get Ableton to run.
I bought the Focusrite Saffire firewire unit today.
I installed all the up to date software/firmware/and the latest version of their VSTs.
Ableton Live 7 hangs when loading everytime it gets to searching “custom” VST’s.
I am on a Mac
I have re-installed Live.
I have deleted my library/audio/plugins folder completely. Then re-installed Live again!
It still hangs in the same place on the loading screen.
any advice would be great!

Been working on this all day…
I deleted my Ableton’s preferences file and have gotten Live to open now.
I guess I will hold off on the Saffire plugins =)
