Helpful Piano Chord/Note Website

Hi All,

I found this site and I wanted 2 share with you all.

I play guitar & bass but its obviously not the same as playing piano...

Most of the time I am producing with my brother who plays piano so I dont normally need this...

BUT, there are those times that I am by myself and I get stuck with my fingers...

I found this cool website that displays all the chords for you virtually. It doesnt have sound but it gives a great visual reference for all the piano chords / scales.

Its extremely helpful when trying to expand riffs/melodies...

Also you can just look at different chords in different scales, play the chords and just go crazy experimenting while coming up with some different rhythms to play the chords to.

Lots of uses for it.

Check it out and lemme know what you think!

Enjoy!

I’ve been looking for something like this! Cheers mate

This is actually a great site dude. did you see my tutorial on using Ableton and its folding feature to insert in chords within a scale? If not, I can send it to you.

no i didnt catch it howie. i’d love to give it a watch tho! PM me if you can!

Improvisator does an easier job of it mate. These things have their limitations though and are no match for real musical theory knowledge.

I understand what ur saying completely… you have 2 understand that I do have real music theory in my head after playin guitar for like 10 years. I can write a song no problem…

I just can’t play piano for Sh*T. It helps tremendously for me 2 know what keys = chords.

I’m still waiting on some more tuts on this, hopefully wont be long if they are still going ahead with all the recent changes at sonic :ermm:

Really helpful, cheers mate
