Good job man! I enjoyed the melody and chords used especially in the beginning as well as that little drop, it almost sounded like a match being lit? Production wise I don’t think its there quite yet but I did enjoy the listen
Hahaha, like the kind of match sound. it definetely has potential, but I think that just before the break it gets a bit too busy and messy with so many sounds at once, Also the kick is a bit weird but thats just my opinion.
The melodies are soft and nice, but the kick doesn’t match. Its a thumpin electro house kick. Get a softer kick with a shorter attack or shorten the decay of the kick
Yeah that kick is definitely off for this type of track. Way too punchy and heavy.
That kick makes it some kind of German 90’s house. Too much punch for the melodic peace you made.
Another thing that would be good to try is correcting some of the gain levels in order to make it more harmonic.

I also had a question for all of you. I was told by a fellow producer that the track is too repetitive. He specifically mentioned that the main melody is over played thus it weakens the power of the counter melody.
my main melody is introduced after the first drop and my counter melody is the piano that is introduced in the 2nd drop.
I sincerely wanted to know if you agree with him that I should take away the melody introduction after the first drop and introduce them both within the main drop.
he believed that would be a more effective arrangement.
In all honesty while i somewhat do see his point, I disagree that the current arrangement makes the track boring and gets the ears used to it.

As for the main melody, it is used during the first drop, but not during the breakdown. IMO, if it is a good melody, it won’t be too repetitive. I mean, look at how many bars of Avicii - Levels (There’s not argument that this is the most popular EDM melody) gets played over and over and over.
Nah, it’s not getting too repetitive. And you can definitely leave that first melody in place. br
My thoughts are that the melody is too loud in the mix, and there is not enough bass.br

Concentrate on first mixing a really powerful and loud kick and bass - and then add in the other elements but not too loud to start to take too much away from the kick and bass.br
