Vocals are still to come and the final mix has not happened yet.
I’d love to here your remarks. Good or bad.
Thanks for checking it out.

not a bad first effort sounds quite positive and uplifting, my main gripe would be the sounds you used, they sound a little dated or something to me, like you probably could have released this in 92 or something on the other had if you used purely orchestral sounds you could probably have it in the background for some ad on telly
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the goal was more commercial them club oriented. I was hoping that the vocals might spice it up a little. I’m not sure what it means for changing the sounds though. I understand your comment, but don’t know what to put in it’s place. Could you or anyone else shed some light? Thanks again for listening.
i like the mix. is pretty clean .good job bro

Thanks.
So for vocals, do you hear male or female vocals for this?
I have two very good vocalists, but I cannot decide which to go with.

Yaeah sort of dated but I like it non the less - definatly female voice but not too much
Thanks Slender.
So here’s my main problem, how the hell do I become “un-dated”?:hehe:
Is there any sounds that you guys can recommend for this song? I’d be willing to collaborate with someone if they think they can make some changes and feel the song has some potential. Actually, I have a bunch of songs that need that.
It’s tough for me to really get down and dirty with producing since I’m a full time student, but I would love it if someone wants to work on sound design and co-production with me. I feel I’m good at writting hooks, but just don’t have the knowledge or time to completely finish my tracks. I’d love to put up the other tracks I have if anyone is interested, but I haven’t for the sake that I don’t want to get bashed as they are unfinished. LOL
Anyone, Anyone?
@ Ekko/ Slender - I took your advice as far as the sound scheme goes. I am trying the demo version of DCAM now. I’m using it for my next song. Wow, what an amazing set of tools!
Any other plugins that you guys might recommend?
i enjoyed it, very smooth. in my opinion, i don’t really think you could effectively change this song’s nature. it feels like this is how it should sound, and it is your first track as you said so keep producing and listen to new music constantly, you will find your groove;)(not to say that this song doesn’t have one, i always was a sucker for trance but don’t tell no one!)
Thanks for the kind words Robo. I agree about not changing the sounds in that song. It’s done and time to move on. I guess what I meant to say was that I was going to start using DCAM moving forward and learn sound design. I’ve been trying to avoid it as I enjoy the writing part much more than the sound design, but I guess it’s time to start.
Thanks again for checking it out.
Being a starter my self i believe you are doing really good!!! i would like to add to the dated think a proposal, i think a good way to catch up is to start listening to music released recently, are you also dj’ing? a good place is always is record shop(that would be ages ago:) ) to some “digging” to the online music stores.
Hey, just wanted to tell you this tune is great. There are a few things i’d change though, i’m not a fan of the new arpy stuff going on at 1:40 when it drops off… its an awesome builder of a tune and I think the introduction of the new choppy melody stuff makes it a little too carnivalish - Keep it BIG, keep it SIMPLE. Also if you really get in there and cut the spare frequency’s floatin around in your mids and lower lows you could really make this tune PUNCH.

Thank you for the comments.
As for chopping the frequencies, I will definietely keep it in mind for mixdown.
What would you put in place of dropping the arps and choppy melody?
