have nice xmas

Hi dan ,s.a are at the moment re-designing the site  the next tutorial is gonna be nu-disco, very soon ,in jan the new s.a will be up and running with tons of new content for us all ,sit tight were told its gonna be amazing !

The whole site is having a massive overhaul, it’s looking HOT. Lots of exciting things happening in 2010 so watch this space.

yeah, what they said.

don’t forget the added possibility of the new content creators also something to look forward to in 2010. i for one can’t wait for the new site and, content. i’m sure we can speak for the SA team when we say you’re gonna love it and it’s gonna be the place to be next year.

I am probably alone but the site update isn’t that important to me.

If I wanted eye candy I’d join an Adobe photoshop site or something.

Sorry I just want ear candy. Each to their own I guess.

Like Danchez I thought the interviews were pretty boring. I didn’t hear anything that I haven’t heard a thousand times before but for those that like a Z list wank fest I suppose it might have hit the spot.?

As for new content creators I actually thought the content creators we had were pretty cool but I can appreciate new content cost both time and resources so for me the real question is one about allocation and lack of.

As an Ableon user the last few months haven’t been good if you compare as Danchez so rightly said with FREE external sites and that ladies and gentleman is the issue if you aint got cash to burn.

For those that have spare cash who love pretty pictures it sounds like the new year will reward you.

Dude how much time have you got on your hands?

It’s quality not quantity. It would be cool if sa could bring out new vids every week but I wouldn’t be able to keep up.

Jon and howie, do you have insider info on what’s happening with the new site?

hello guys and gals

sonic academy is undergoing major redevelopment as we speak

it’s not just a face lift but total re-design from the ground up to make our site more useable and accessible

as well as that we have new content creators coming on board and have some seriously big hitters about to join our crew

there’s always tension between just banging stuff out and keeping the content consistently good, which is what we try to do

we hope you’ll be really impressed by everything that you see in 2010 and thanks for your loyalty so far

All the time I have left to learn NEW things but very little time to hear the same old tune re-hashed.

I hear you krome!

Electro cubase tut could of been the techno Nu disco tut but I liked it all the same.

Looking forward to the new site and creators!

Does this now mean our subscription will go up?

Yeah the Cubase tutorial was worth the subscription price alone. Annoyingly I am not using Cubase

the new website will have lots more free content for anyone whether they have registered, subscribed or none of the above

if you register you’ll get access to more content and if you subscribe, all videos

there’ll be a subscriber account available at the current £59.99 rate and a new subscriber plus account for £99 per year

anyone who has paid for an annual sub or monthly sub will be unaffected by any new pricing until they renew and can decide which way to go

we’ll be running lots of competitions, promotions etc - we’ve been gathering feedback for a year and are now trying to implement it to make sonic the best web resource for music tech heads that there is

Any details on the plus account please?

lol be fair dude, i know you’re not happy at the moment and i do think you should be let to have your say, but if the guys are gonna pull in new content, and added material. this has to be paid with something dude.

What are the chances that the new content and website will be put back again as on the latest SA Twitter update they are off to NAMM in LA. Good job i didnt renew my subscription.

hi nelly

you can have a look at the updated release schedule in the general forum.

it shows content due for the next 2 months

kevin is away to NAMM in LA yes, but all the content creators are staying in the office in order to get the content for this month out.

as for the website, the release date has always been the 31st of january so that has never been delayed!

i hope that you will renew your subscription with us again in the future!
