Hi, I really like the funky bass on this song: Knightlife - Discotirso - YouTube and i would like to to produce something similar.
Do you have any ideas of how I can make this kind of sound?

Sounds almost like a strat. I’ll find it tomorrow, but I’ve def come across something similar in Live recently while experimenting.
yeah I’ve always wanted to know how to make this sound. Reminds me of Olav Basoski. I really want to know how to make the disco, funky house sound.

Might as well be an original bass line. So no vst.
If it is vst, you might check how Ian carey creates his funky basslines. Google it. There’s a vid from Future Music or Computer Music that deals with this specific subject in his studio.
it sounds like a slap bass sample. you could find it in loopermasters or vengeance.
throw it into a simpler in ableton with some FX.

this song does have another bass in it as well. it sounds more like a synth tho. just lowend.

+1 for the Ian Carey vid. I use it in every track I put a bass guitar in (except i use a different bass library, not that sh*t M-Audio one).
