I had the music channel ‘Flaunt’ on Sky earlier and this track came on, it’s a sh*te track but i noticed they were doing quite a lot of manipulation on the vocals.
I was wondering how I too can manipulate vocals like that?
Hey roben seems like its just vocoding theres a couple of vocal stutters in there and the blokes voice sounds like its doubled up with one pitched down and vocoding on it and the other normal .

spot on! vocode then pitch down… and yes this really is a $hit song!
cool !
what bout this one?
vocals kinda warped, streched? how?
It sounds like multisampled vocals at different pitches with a glide put on them Actually im playing with ableton sampler right now and im pretty sure thats how its made

Glitch or Effectrix will do it.
Hey how do you embed videos into the post? Thanks
i think you gotta convert to midi file (in ableton) and then pitch down/up with your midi keyboard … i havn’t try , let me know if it works…
so ? works or not?
No i wasn’t sure how to do that glide option, all that happens for me is by pressing the new key it restarts the phrase.
Anyone?
i was meaning that you had to play with the pitch wheel…
Ah ok, will have to try that when i move my midi keyboard to my girlfriends. I have programs set up there so im working on that project there, but no midi keyboard there either lol.
Here i have different projects… Just wish i’d finish them!
ok… gonna try this today and i’ll tell you…
