How do I pitch bend more than +/- 7 half steps?

I find that if i want to pitchbend, I can only automate up to + or - 7 half steps. is there a way to set it for a larger range somehow?

i think u should be able to adjust the Bend rate or Bend time in your synth or sampler .there should be a edit option , for it. what is the synthesis you are using?

If its a synth you have a choice normally to go as far as 24 some are 12 tho.

I am using sylenth, and i tend to work in session view. Is there a way that i can pitch bend with sylenth within individual clips?

i know that i can increase the pitchbend range and then automate the pitchbend, but it will only show me the pitch as a percentage from 0% to 100%, and not the actual amount of half steps.



plus i cant bend up, only down, as it defaults at 100% and i cant go above that

hey taylor,



take your clip you made in sylenth



bounce it down to another audio track, or in other words set up a audio track to record the output of the sylenth track



next take the recording and double click on it to open up the clip editor view



next in the envelope section click on clip in the first drop down box and click on transposition in the box below the previous



you should be able to transpose the clip in either + or - 48 semitones in this window



if the sound doesnt change after you create a envelope change the warp mode from beats which is the usual default to tones or texture





this should give you the pitch bend you need
