Ok, so Im done with creating parts and now Im going to start composing my song. My problem is Im trying to start with the drums without the clap so its just the kick and hats but I cant figure out how to do that. In the trance video it shows that you add each drum part into its own channel (which I did) and now Im not sure how to do just kick and hats.

separate the midi part that you just want to effect from the other parts by clicking over the area and moving it back and forth creating a break mark. now delete all the parts you dont want in the clip display area. this will only affect the section you broke off the other parts
