Interesting that the music industry is telling is its bankrupt through illegal downloading but can spend the national debt of Greece manufacturing “product”
Pop music isnt as affected by internet piracy as other genres. I mean it still is affected just not as much, and pop music gets sold by the hundreds of thousands which does make them a profit. Its also because pop music is accesible to such a huge audiance worldwide, only a small percentage of that audiance needs to physically purchase the music.

Also they get lots of money from radio plays, that is a really big earner.
