Alright i know that sounds very vague, so i will explain what i need help with from each song. Lets start with koolhaus.
Koolhaus:

How would you make that type of bass, and what is that sort of xylophone sound that comes in at 1:00. It sounds like it vibrates or something.
Blue Funk:

At 0:30 how would you get those type of basses. By that i mean the pattern, its like different every 2 seconds. How is that pattern constructed, it sounds complex and the percs and loops behind it sound tribal? Also at 3:31 its like this high pitched sound that keeps going on for a couple of seconds sidechained. How does one make that?
The Flow:

At 3:30 when the breakdown hits its like once again the xylophone sound, but this type its like getting pitched up and down?, if im correct that is. As well as the bassline, it like sounds all around the place, yet sounds amazing.
I know sorry for so many questions, and sorry that on my first post im asking instead of contributing, but im in need of help. Thanks a lot for those that do help and take their time to answer and help me with these questions. If my question is unclear to you, just say so and i will try to re-explain.
On the first one, it sounds like a square wave, in unison. its a pretty wide song for a bass sound. There is definately a little bit grit to it too.
for that zylophone sound, its just a square wave with a short attack and short decay, no sustain, and none to super small release. I wasnt paying too much attention to the release.
oh yeah, theres delay on that zylophone sound too.
throw a touch of saws in there too. make sure to detune the bass to get the wideness. thats where thats coming from. Add chorus
Alright thanks, ill try it out. If you got anything else, i will read it with pleasure XD

I do actually…
Go to my post about synthesis. Its on this page a few posts down. Read through it. read through it again. And practice. That is the best and only way you will learn is if you do it for yourself. If someone teaches you how to make one sound, you still dont get it. But if you figure it out for yourself, you learn a ****load in the process.
