Yeh the sounds on Thug****er are awesome how would you make that sound?
I think i got it, i layered up 3 synths, its basically saw waves with just carefully positioned sustain and decay on the main envelope and the filter cut off… a nice reverb with a longish decay and a simple delay added. the length of the notes u use are important too…
the first synth u use is for the low freq, second mid, and 3rd high… if u just get a saw wave and detune it fairly well, and use -7 on the note (i use sylenth) then accompany that with a square wave etc…
hope thats clear

Hi, you mean 3 sylenths? and saw+square on each one right?
Thanks:)
i had 2 minimoogs and one sylenth… first minimoog i used the ‘fat’ preset and adjusted the sustain and release, cant remember what i used for the second minimoog, low in volume mid guitar sound is the best way i could describe it… now for the sylenth, 8 voices on one ocilater with a saw wave, detuned high, -7 in note and -1 or two in octave, same again on another ocilator (except with 0 on note) the repeat on oscilater 3 and 4 with a square wave… try that, see what you come up with, u need to use your ear a lot
im in the middle of a track now where i use the sound im talking about, if you want to hear it you can download here >
