How to get that 80s synth sound

Hey All,

I have been getting down to this song a lot lately.



I love the 80s synth that starts at :33 into the video.

I'm just wondering if anybody knows what type of wave that is and how I could go about making something like this using sylenth or dcam...

Any help is appreciated!

it’s all about the chords, and keeping the portamento on.





Computer Music monthly did an 80’s synth quick lesson, i’ll see if i can dig it out.
