I have used both Massive, Sylenth and Predator to create this sound recently. It is basically LFOs and filters synched to tempo. Massive - like Sylenth - is an awesome tool but there are so many bits on it that i’d really like to master/understand. ie: the filters/effects/automation/etc

Whole gang! To each their own on your style of music. As I said in a recent post, it’s not everyones forte! But I swear to GOD! You google dance music tutorial on the web, and it will pump out thousands of house and trance tuts. Other than one dubsteb tutorial, and how to chop up a beat and break it, there’s absolutely NO tutorials on what I’m asking for. Yet, I can find about a million of electro and trance. I rest my case! This isn’t about a fight, it’s about learning something new. Not all of us put on 400 bracelets and dance to fluffy music with glowsticks… Some of us are a little more outside the box than that. I didn’t come here to learn shit I could google. I paid to learn shit I can’t find anywhere else. IE breaks and wonk. Not trance and more trance, and some house and more house. What actually drew me to this site was the Tech House tut because it was so different from everything that was on the net already. But that never developed, and now I’ve been here paying to watch all you lot learn how to make the next be billboard trance or vocal house track. ya dig! We all pay to be here. Let a little outside the box thinking come in, and don’t pidgeon hole this site to what the UK wants, this is world wide baby!
Also gang, take this lightly We’re all adults. I’m just starting to get frustrated with the content as some of the other members. I’m an extremely outspoken human being as my wife will tell you, and it may come off the wrong way sometimes. I’m not angry or bitter, just ready for something new!

Twocker makes breaks. Will Bailey of Twocker likes house, so they split, and he makes house. The other guy who I can’t remember his name, goes by Twocker still, and makes breaks.(which is why the non breaks ppl like you just associate it to house) Hence the most recent tune, and example I gave. Now, I will admit that the world loves trance. Fuckall why, but they do. This is not about what you like, and what I like. Lets make that clear, because we obviously will not see eye to eye on this. This is about “the rest of us” that don’t listen to Simon Patterson, THAT ALSO PAY TO BE HERE, that want something other than the same shit THAT THE WHOLE WORLD listens to… And you wonder why so many people hate dance music and techno. Its because the asshats involved are too genre specific, and I quote the non dance world “it all sounds the same”. I came here because I can learn from all styles. But theres only been house and trance. So you tell me Roben, am I getting what I came for? You obviously are as aggressive as you are about this. So, wheres all those tracks you’ve been producing with all the knowledge that you’ve taken away. I mean come on, “you’ve learned more here than in one year at Uni!”. If thats the case, put up or shuddup. But let the rest of us have what we want.
It seems like anytime someone asks for something outside of the box that you dont want or like, you attack it, and say “just wait guys, theres more important stuff to learn”. Like what, and who’s place is it to decide what the rest of us think is important. Not you for sure my friend. Lets let a dead dog lie, and move on from this. I just want a tutorial. Not a competition on wtf is the best style, and where the tuts should be headed. Especially since you mention all the sub genres of house, where are those tuts, being that its all proggy electro and trance? It really sucks that this conversation has had to take this turn as I think your a great guy and have valuable input. And now it’s starting to make me look like I’m unhappy with SA, and I’m not. I just want everyone that keeps trying to put the stop on the non traditional stuff to get the hell outta the way and let the select few get theirs. I’m almost feeling like the tutorials and forums should be separated by genre just to keep this kind of thing from happening again. But then that would contradict the whole idea of dance music and not being genre specific wouldn’t it. So I guess we all need to just get along and accept the fact that sometimes its other peoples turn.
