Hi … I would like to see a tech tip about how can I isolate the voice from any track.
I want to be able to extract the voice only and leave the rest at minimum or nothing.
Thanks
Hello,
i watch something about it, and you can have best result with original + same instrumental version… Shift the instrumental mix 180 degrees out of phase from the vocal mix. Now mix the 2 together and see if it’s ok for you… sometimes it work
would need to make sure they are in perfect sync and move the level above to match that too. i always think of this is as “magic” when it works lol. watch this ill make the music disappear!!
I use Ableton… How could I do that with Ableton… or what program should I use…
Please give me more info about this…
thanks a lot!
wow thats a really cleaver way to do it and it should work in principle!! nice!!
You can not remove a vocal from a song. Because vocals are in Mono (not including effects like ping pong, etc) you can not do it. However, the technique you are thinking about can take out the vocals out of a song.
Unfortunately, stripping the music from vocals is impossible at this juncture.
if you have the instrumental track, there are a couple of programs out there that can do the alignment and the phasing
Thanks Phil but I know that… I just want to do the exact opposite thing…
Remove the music and keep the voice… I want to solo the voice to use it for a remix or in another song.
do you have the instrumental of the song?

^this is the only way to do it. there is no software out there that can pull the vocals out of a song. melodyne DNA is the closest we have gotten.
ive used this before and sometimes you can get decent results, other times it sounds bad
Welcome to MAGIX
only 60 bucks too, it uses proprietary izotope technology to remove vocals or make instrumentals
