I’ve been listening to EDX and I noticed a good synth used frequently. I’ve been working with it and i’ve almoust done it. It goes 3 saw osc, with +10 +5 and -2 i.e. (-1 oc +2 note)(+5 note)(-2) all has 2 voices and have unison a bit. And EDX does chords not simple melody like everybody thought. So I’m requesting for any ideas because I’ve don’t have any left.
Hi mate, br

I have been looking in to this recently, watching some of the Chris Reece videos and he is using 2 layers, one main pluck, wide saw waves and one short decay high end pluck for the punch: br

I have also been creating this type of sound using 2 tracks (sylenth) one for low end (4 saw 2 tuned in at 0, +5 and +7, pitch modulation and pitch mod on both lfo’s), and the other main synth with mid/high(4 saws 2 at 0 and +2, +3): br

The stabby pluck gives good groove, but you gotta have some cool chords to go with it and the bass to compliment, hitting some off notes for variation too. br

hope this helps you out. br
