Marz, thank you so much for the kind comments. So glad you where able to follow in presonus studio one - thats great news. Will try my best to find time to recreate the string machine and add it in at the end here. Keep watching and learning dude!
This one made me become a subscriber as well! :D *hoping for more FL Studio tuts* Good job, guys.
Welcome dude, we have more Fl tuts coming very soon. :-)
Glad you guys made this tutorial! Happy to be a subscriber! Keep up the amazing work :)!
Cheers, Chris. Can't wait! :)
Great song and tutorial, as always. However, I could not find the part where effects are put to the main vocal track. Did I miss something ? Thanks
I have just checked back through to vids and the actual logic files, you haven't missed something, looks like they got put on inbetween the snare vid and the hats vid. Sorry my mistake.
Thank you for the quick answer, I appreciate it. I'll hunt for this section asap. Keep up the good work.
If you open up the Tut 4 logic file, you should be able to have a look at the effects applied to the vocal, so I forgot to record this section.
Oh ok, that's what I thought, the video is missing. Anyway, that's what I already had done: checking the Logic files. Reverse engineering is always good for learning :) Thank you again for your time.
Is it possible for you to summarize these if we don't have Logic X?
Why does my logic pro look different to yours? Theres always bit missing from my logic to all the ones used in these tutorials? e.g. video 1 my drop down menu doesnt have create track stack!?
Have you Logic Pro X install or Logic Pro 9 - X look very different and includes the track stack feature, 9 does not have this.
Nov. 23 - credit where credit is due! Chris, I returned to the tutorial, used the learnings up to the bass part... then I went crazy and went off on a tangent... so my result not so "timecop" but the Blondie-ish bassline - so hypnotic... here's my result! now on itunes! thank you, Chris! Thanks, Sonic Academy! preview: https://soundcloud.com/marztec...
now on itunes, among others... e.g. junodownload, beatport

On tutorial 5, when you go into EXS24 and load Factory > Guitar > Electric Guitar > Electric Guitar Muted Notes.... I do not have that option. I have attached what I have. How can I get that plugin? I can not seem to find the answers on google.
Hi Ryan,
you need to go to the "logic pro x' menu top left hand corner, then select 'Download additional content' This can be huge - could up to 30gb in some cases. Or you can just select the content you want to download - I think it would be the 'Legacy and Compatibility' folder you want.
Thanks for the quick reply Chris, I will try this now!
really enjoyed this tutorial big thanks!
