The Hard dance one is pretty good but i feel hardstyle is different enough to deserve its own tutorial. Some of my preferred artists are Noisecontrollers, Lady Faith, Gunz 4 Hire, and Wasted Penguins. I would prefer ableton. Thanks guys.br

Hardstyle is a distinct style of its own with the distorted pitched kicks, triplet melodies and unique sounds and deserves its own tutorial. :)br

Headhunterz is a great producer of this style:br

For me hardstyle is about finding a nice contrast between hard and beautiful. Best hardstyle has often very melodic and beautiful euphoric sections in between some earthshakingly pounding dark terrifying parts… Wasted Penguinz are especially good at melodies in hardstyle:br

just listened to a few of these tracks, where’s the kick drum? it’s like an massively compressed, over limited, boing sound, or am I missing something? How does that come across in a club?br

Excuse my ignorance!!

It comes along really well Hardstyle maniac here, been to 2-3 indoor events and a big festival and its just great. I mean I respect if you cant appreciate the complexity of the kickdrum but in hardstyle its everything. It takes years of experience to be able to contruct a nice sounding kickdrum (at least from what producers in the scene have been saying). You could make a whole 2-4hr tut just on the kicks (which has already been done by big producer Audiofreq and its available for free on yt).br

I would love to see a “how to make hardstyle in Logic” but only if its done properly. I mean I want a real banging 2013 sound hardstyle track. If that isnt possible then just dont. Its not an easy genre to make since the elements in the tracks are quite different from the trancey/housey stuff that is popular today. I myself enjoy both but hardstyle, hardcore, crossbreed, raw hardstyle its all just much, much more energetic. One alternative that I think would be easier to approach would be UK Hardcore. It has a similar structure but a much more trancey/bass music feel to it Would love to see Agnelli getting down and dirty if it aint too fast for him
Interesting, I would find that frustrating, not having a kick with a bit of a thump behind it!
Some tracks do have quite a massive thump but that is typically in the much harder style than what was shown here Typically much darker aswell
Headhunterz has just done a really good track walk though for CM Magazine, it would be awesome to try and get him to do a tutorial.
