This week P-LASK is back with an all-new ‘How To Make’ course where he crafts a 90s Atmospheric Drum and Bass track from scratch.
Following the recent release of our new ANA 2 Classic 90s Pads Preset Pack, Paul thought, ‘Why not utilise some of the presets in a new track?’

Brilliant course and track, really enjoyed watching this one. Just “seat and watch” P-LASK crafting this great song without even trying to download the resources and opening the project first, and I had a real blast through the entire course watching and listening the all song taking shape along the videos.
Right from the beginning, there’s an intention for the end result with Paul knowing very well what sounds and elements are required for this genre, a super clear and well organized workflow during all steps of the production process, and he definitely delivers in the end.
Everything is explained in details, from the “how and why” things related to Ableton Live as well as for crafting this track with finesse and attention to details that this genre of music requires.
Must watch course, even if you’re not into this genre of music, there’s a load you can pick up from Paul’s workflow and production process and it’s easy to follow along, plus if you’re up for a cool journey through this more atmospheric style of DnB, then you’ll have a blast next to learning how this fine piece of music was created from start to finish.
