This week, we welcome back Sensho for a brand-new ‘How To Make’ course where he creates a French Touch 2.0 track from start to finish.
As with all of his courses, this one is packed full of ANA 2 sound design techniques, including evolving arpeggios, pads, and bass, along with simple but effective drum design and arrangement tips and tricks. We look at the importance of varying the different sections while still utilizing the sounds we’ve created, tweaking them and their patterns to maintain the listener’s interest.
The end result is a chilled, flowing track filled with synths and atmosphere that captures the genre perfectly.
This was super interesting, I wasn’t familiar with this sound prior to this tutorial but I’ve enjoyed it a lot. I couldn’t really explain why but it feels like a classier version of synthwave, not better, like synthwave in a suit sipping wine lol thanks Sensho I love your tutorials!
Great course, well explained and I learn some new things in there. Like Seb above I’m not an Ableton user but It wasn’t a problem to follow along.
I’ll definitely be checking out your other lessons!
